Location: the hotel was very close to the garden or the terraces, and the main sites. Local fast food option Pizza Mania was 10 minutes walk away.
There was nothing I didn't like.

We had a delightful stay at Villa Britannia for a week. The two guest rooms were equally desirable, and when our old friends booked the other room, it made the experience even better. The property is fabulous, with a kitchen that doubles as a cooking school, a cozy living room, and a lovely terrace. The view from the terrace was breathtaking, with Calabria visible in the distance. The homemade marmalade at breakfast was a personal favorite, and the hosts, Louisa and Marco, made us feel right at home. It was truly a happy holiday.
100% Recommend this hotel.

My partner and I had a wonderful and very relaxing stay at Villa Britannia. The villa is tucked away in a quiet side street, offering peacefulness away from the hustle of Taormina's center. Our room was spacious, airy, and impeccably clean, with stunning views of the sea and mountains from our balconies. The owners, Marco and Louisa, were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel like we were staying in our own private home. The breakfast buffet was not your typical spread - it was beautifully set out with a variety of delicious options. We enjoyed eating our breakfast on the verandah, taking in the breathtaking view of Taormina. Marco also helped us with parking our car, even during road works, which was a great help. Although we regretted not being able to use the garden and terraces due to the cold weather, it just gives us an excuse to come back in the future. I highly recommend Villa Britannia for a truly memorable and authentic Sicilian experience.

We got a fantastic value for our money at this beautiful villa. The room was spacious with a balcony and a view of the city and sea. The location was perfect, just a short walk to town and the cable car. The staff, especially Louisa, were incredibly helpful and made us feel at home.
The only thing that could have made the morning meal better was if there were more options for hot dishes.
